Telos Core Developers Snapshot

June 6 — June 11

This week’s TCD Snapshot provides a summary of the key updates, fixes, and optimizations completed by June 11th, 2023 across two key modules of the Telos Network: Telos Wallet and Open Block Explorer.

Telos Wallet

The Telos Wallet has seen several significant updates and fixes in the past week:

• Fixed null error in price.ts: An issue that caused an error when a null value was encountered in the price data has been resolved.
• Improved user interface for small screens: The responsiveness for low-resolution screens with small heights has been adjusted. The font colour for send confirmation and buy amount has been restored, and scrolling for login options on short screens has been enabled.
• Added new notification layouts: New designs for displaying notifications within the application have been introduced.
• Enhanced security and user experience: Users are now prevented from landing on demo pages while using the production version of the app. A bug affecting iOS users when sending transactions has been fixed. The login process for WalletConnect has been improved, including auto-login if already connected.
• Code maintenance and testing: The version number has been bumped to v2.0.2-rc. Feedback has been addressed, code has been refactored, and unnecessary comments have been removed. Skipped tests have been updated and restored for better code coverage and reliability.

Open Block Explorer

The Open Block Explorer has also seen important updates:

• Action name inclusion: This update enhances user experience by displaying the name of the action being performed, providing better context and understanding for users during the process. There is also work being performed to fix bugs on the OBE expected to be released early this week.
