Telos Core Developers Snapshot

July 11th–16th

This week’s TCD Snapshot covers the updates and improvements made to our products from July 11th to the 16th. Our ongoing efforts aim to enhance user experience, increase system performance, and bolster security across all our offerings.

Telos EVM Translator

1. Gap Check Upgrade: We improved the system’s ability to identify and handle gaps in data processing, ensuring smoother operation and preventing potential issues due to missing data.
2. Update Fork Check Condition: We updated the conditions for checking data path divergences, maintaining data integrity and consistency across the system.
3. Readme Typo Fix: We corrected a typo in the readme file, ensuring accuracy of system information for current and potential users.
4. Microfork Resolution: We fixed a minor divergence issue in the data path, maintaining the overall system health and reliability.

Telos EVM Docker

1. Substitution Plugin Tests & Fixes: We tested and fixed issues with the substitution plugin, a tool used for code customization. This ensures that the plugin works correctly for different users or situations.
2. Multi-User Support for Elasticsearch Container: We added a feature allowing multiple users to access and use the Elasticsearch container simultaneously, enhancing teamwork on data analysis tasks.
3. Preservation of Yarn.lock on Translator: We stopped the removal of the Yarn.lock file from the Translator, ensuring consistent use of software libraries and avoiding potential issues.
4. Manual Testing Fixtures for Translator: We added manual testing fixtures to the Translator for self-performance checks, ensuring reliable results.

Telos Wallet

1. Web3Modal Upgrade & Bug Fix: We upgraded the Web3Modal and fixed a bug related to the persistent loading state on connection request rejection, improving user experience.
2. Semver Update: We updated the semver to the latest version, ensuring the software is using the most secure version.
3. Wallet Introduction URL Update: We updated the wallet introduction URL to direct users to the most current and relevant information.
4. NFT Fetch Limit Increase: We increased the limit for fetching non-fungible tokens (NFTs) to 10,000, enabling users to view and interact with more NFTs.
5. Fuel Service Availability Check: We added a check for the availability of fuel service for native transactions, preventing transaction failures and improving system reliability.
6. Page Header Wrap: We wrapped the page header, improving page layout and organization.

Telos Github

1. Github Metrics SVG Update: We updated the visual representation of Github metrics, providing an easy-to-read overview of project performance for team members.

Telos Native App

1. Semver Dependency Update: We updated the semver software component to its latest version, ensuring we’re using the latest and most secure version of this component.

EVM Tests

1. Standard Precompile Tester: We created a tool to automatically test precompiled contracts, improving the reliability of the network.
2. TEVMC Auto Deploy: We automated the deployment of TEVMC, a component that handles executing smart contracts, reducing human error.
3. Dependencies Update: We updated software dependencies to ensure the software runs smoothly and securely.

1. Semver Dependency Update: We updated the semver software component, ensuring we’re using the latest, most secure and efficient version.
2. Tough-Cookie Dependency Update: We updated the ‘tough-cookie’ component, ensuring our software is using the latest, most secure and efficient version.
