Telos Core Developers Snapshot
June 19th — June 25th
During the week of June 19th to June 25th, Telos Core Developers (TCD) made progress across various offerings. Key highlights include user interface improvements, performance enhancements, and fixes for critical issues in the Telos Wallet. The Telos Native App saw the addition of a governance documentation page, loading indicators, and improved mobile responsiveness. Teloscan had web3 package upgrades and documentation updates. The TCD continues to prioritize the development of the EVM 1.5 contract, EVM Web Wallet, TELOS ZERO, and the implementation of NFT viewing functionality which we believe can be finished by next week among other achievements.
Telos Web Wallet
- The available amount for sending is never negative: Ensured that users cannot send a negative amount of tokens, preventing errors and confusion.
- Hotfixes: Fixed issues with modal windows, enhanced UI by excluding certain development views from being accessed, and improved notifications to display accurate network information.
- Big token names display with ellipsis: improved readability and design by truncating long token names with an ellipsis.
- WalletConnect improvements: updated to the latest version of the web3modal library, improved wallet selection views, and fixed an issue where the modal window would not close properly.
- Responsiveness and design improvements: conducted mobile display improvements and enhanced the look of the inventory when no items are present, (NFT work to be released).
Telos Native App
- Governance documentation: added a governance page with information fetched from the decentralized storage system (IPFS), implemented direct links to IPFS content and markdown rendering, and included a link to the contributing account profile for transparency and improved styling as well as mobile responsiveness.
- Loading indicators: implemented a universal loading indicator for the app and fixed issues with multiple loading indicators appearing simultaneously.
Teloscan
- Upgraded web3 package: upgraded the web3 package to improve compatibility and performance.
- Fixed sourcify link in generic contract component: ensured users can access Sourcify, a service that verifies smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain.
