The Telos Core Developers snapshot provides an overview of the key updates and improvements made to our products over the past week. The updates are part of our ongoing commitment to deliver superior user experience, enhanced performance, and robust security in our offerings.
Telos Wallet
- Fathom Analytics Integration: Fathom Analytics has been integrated into the project, providing valuable insights into website traffic and user behaviour. This intelligence will drive data-informed decisions to enhance user experience. Additionally, Fathom CDN has been implemented to expedite the delivery of website content, enhancing the website’s speed and performance.
- Transaction Table Improvements: We have improved the transaction table to make the transaction history more user-friendly. Additionally, we have implemented a notification feature for users if transaction fetching fails, thereby increasing transparency and user trust.
- Config Connector Version Update: We have updated the Config Connector version to keep up with the latest features and security enhancements.
- Debugging and Deployment Fixes: We have revised our debug log to aid quicker diagnosis and resolution of issues. Also, we have rectified issues with the deploy preview, enabling more accurate previewing and testing of changes before implementation.
- Codebase Synchronization: All the latest approved changes have been integrated into the ongoing development work.
- NFT Viewing: Substantial progress was made on NFT viewing capabilities (text, audio, video, and picture NFTs), and a release supporting ERC721 tokens is due this week.

- “Tough-Cookie” Software Component Update: The “Tough-Cookie” software component has been updated to the latest version to benefit from the most recent improvements and security fixes.
- Actions Payload Issue Fix: We have resolved an issue where the actions payload was continuously appending, leading to improved system efficiency and performance.
- Payload Data Enhancement: Based on feedback, we have added an account link to the payload data, making it more informative and useful.
1.5 and 2.0 Work
- EVM 1.5 and 2.0: Work on precompiles, functions that will allow massive speedups in EVM performance are underway.
- Integrity & General Performance: Integrity (gap and fork recovery) and general performance improvements on core modules were the main focus, and one specific performance bug was identified and fixed.
