Telos Foundation Welcomes Dan LeBaron as Communications Advisor
To ensure all of the exciting developments and progress at Telos are being broadcast far and wide, the Telos Foundation announces the addition of Dan LeBaron to the project as Communications Advisor. With Dan’s depth of knowledge across the field of communications, public and media relations, the Telos community can look forward to Telos content being shared across the most impactful variety of channels and verticals that are highly relevant to both Web2 and Web3 audiences.
A Media Expert and Dynamic Networker
Dan led the communications team at award-winning IP firm Smart, Biggar + Fetherstonhaugh before receiving a master’s degree in journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University. While in graduate school, he worked on the content team at Canada’s leading sports app, theScore, while also working as a freelance journalist and content developer for various startups and tech clientele. After graduation, Dan worked as an Account Manager at Zenergy Communications across a variety of verticals including tech, commercial real estate, celebrity/KOL, manufacturing and retail. Currently, Dan is an Account Director at Zeno Group, where he specializes in media relations, communications strategies and partnerships for clients ranging from tech to tourism clients.
Key achievements include:
- Managed and led communications team of 10 employees at IP firm Smart, Biggar + Fetherstonhaugh
- Master’s degree in journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University
- 3 x OVATION Award winner for various media relations campaigns, as determined by International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) Toronto
- Over 5+ years of experience in publication relations at the managerial and director level, working with some of the world’s largest and most iconic brands
- Led marketing teams and consulted for various Web3 projects, including world’s first anime NFT project 0N1 Force, which boasts over 79,000 ETH in all-time volume
